CNY Cookies

Chinese New Year is round the corner, most of the family will start their baking CNY cookies, so do I, all these are baked on Sunday and more to come .......

Coffee Pound Cake and Ang Ku Kueh

This coffee pound cake was made on Saturday for my dancing mate cos that nite we attended a folk dancing nite event which lasted 5 hours. Comments from my dancing mates are the cakes taste delicious, very fragrant. I myself find that it's a bit dry cos I didn't add any milk at all, will definitely add a bit of milk the next time I make them again.

I also tried making Ang Ku Kueh on Sunday in peanuts and coconut fillings, all in I made about 89 pieces, and by this time it's all gone, so you can imagine how good they taste.

迷你餐包与牛奶面包

这是我昨晚尝试做的迷你餐包与牛奶面包，本以为不怎么样，哈！原来很好吃，面包很松软。我家的侄女还叫我做来卖，当然不行啦，我的功夫还没到佳呢!怎么能那出去献丑呢？Anyway, 我相当满意这次的作品，虽然因为赶时间shaping做的不是很好，hee hee。

送给教师的蛋糕

以上的蛋糕是我在教师节的时候做了送给三位舞蹈老师的, 一个Kiwi Cake, 一个Durian Cake and 一个Coffee Cake, 我最喜欢的是Kiwi Cake and Durian Cake. I used 猫山王durian做那个Durian Cake, 味道真是一级棒!

应弟媳的要求, 昨晚我做了菲律宾面包,

第一次尝试做,

效果还不错, 只是烘过头了, 上层有点焦,

不过内层还是松软的,

侄女们都吃得津津有味,

弟媳还带了一个去做工呢!

Sugar Glazed Doughnut, 08/11/07

今早决定做Doughnut给小瓜们当早点, 从jodelibakery的网上才知道原来there is two type of doughnuts, raised and cake type, 我做的是Cake Doughnut. 我呢不是doughnut person, 不过家里的那几个小瓜们都喜欢吃, 我就顺手做了一些让他们尝尝.
